I just finished reading an article that effects my job in every which way. The city of Memphis owes over 153 million in over due funds to the local school system. The school board has proposed that we just hold off on starting school until the city pays up so our fearless crackpot of a leader doesn't do away with several important programs. So apparently our superintendent can get a raise and make $300,000 a year but when it comes to trimming the budget we cut into our district 500 teacher jobs in Memphis. This cut includes my job.

I'm 26 today. Go me. This week is going to be crazy with midterms and renewing my TN teaching license.

Four years ago when I got married my husband and I had a literal mountain of scifi shows to watch per week.
