Long story short, Tony let some kids get to him in school and threatened to hit one with a chair. He was suspended for the rest of today, as well as Monday.

His punishment's going to be scads of chores. Looks like our house is going to be spotless.

Since the_lucky_nun has the car today, I walked downtown to catch the bus, so as to avoid walking up the hill in what was mist, but might have turned to rain. My professor and TA have, respectively, informed me that my grades are ok and allowed me to make up a project.

My friends (Annex and otherwise) are making sure that I'm ok.

I need to go eat some lunch before my music director interview.

As the_lucky_nun said, we need something bigger than a shoe with which to beat the boys. Tony lost his track bag, because he was too interested in doing the next event, rather than telling his coach. Tony didn't clean his room yesterday, forgot laundry in the washing machine for two days, and basically skipped out on all his chores as soon as he got home.

Now he's asking me for "just one chance."

I'm not getting pissed, but I have a feeling my night just went straight to hell.

Or what passes for normal around here, at least.

Tony started track today, so he's getting some sort of exercise, for once. I am now able to take naps once again, and thus feel about a billion times better right now than I have most Mondays so far this year.
