Winter shines in its own light, but I simply adore springtime. Signs of new beginnings are all around us. I can see it in the light green leaves sprouting on the trees, the rising temperatures, the tulips blooming -- nature is celebrating with me my current transition in life. [[Iris's Valentine's Day Box]]
This being her first Valentine's Day living in the city, in spirit of the holiday, Iris puts a box outside the door of the house she's living in. It's a shoebox covered in decorative pink tissue paper and hearts cut out from plain white paper, an origami iris flower taped onto the corner. Misfortune...
The Eagle Mountains are lovely all year round. Autumn is no exception... Many of the leaves have changed in colour, and the view from the shrine is something to behold.
