Well, it's almost two weeks, and still no sign of Xanthos. I even went back to Pennant Hills in case in some bizarre fit of homesickness, he decided to wander back. Argent's still not dealing. She's very clingy, and has taken to wandering the house calling out for him. Partly for her sake, we're looking at getting a kitten.

I had a friend who's missing cat returned after a month, a bit thinner but happy to be home. I wouldn't give up hope yet.

Getting a kitten doesn't have to be giving up on Xanthos. It may be worth leaving your contact details at your old house in case he does show up there. I'm still hoping he comes back!

The house is scheduled to be demolished, but all our cats sed to spnd time with one fot the neighbours, so I've let her know just in case.
