Kenapa nangis?

We went to an Indonesian restaurant in the New Farm suburb of Brisbane today by the name of Jakarta. The food was great, even if the staff were never present. Well, my folks are still in Indonesia albeit Surabaya. But I keep meaning to get out there and possibly bring Paul along to see where I spent so much of my childhood. Keep me posted.

Plus... you're making me hungry. If you're ever in London I'll take you to Melati's. Really good Indonesian/Malay food and wickedly friendly staff.

I definitely want to show divaflip around the place before it all changes beyond recognition, but I have this feeling we'll be in Europe before that happens. Of course, this means going to Melati's with you :)

Last time I went there was in 2004. Sutra already been there twice until now and the stories she's been telling me are completely beyond imagination. Everything has completely changed, as we may already know it. I don't have as many friends as I have in here and I dare myself that if I ever go back there sometime in the future, I would not understand a single thing the way people talks these days. They have new 'slang' words everyday. :)

If you want a taste of what's changed, have a look for Pondok Indah Mall in Google Earth!

Pondok Indah Mall 2? I heard of that as well and it's huge too. XD *sigh* Government really spent our money on those shopping malls instead of making new rules and stuff like that.

Sounds like a possibility. We should see who else is interested. Maybe we can do a big-ass teleconference with everyone else who won't/can't attend.
