He should probably get John or something. Make the jackass help him gather what little collection of hunting supplies he's managed to put together and get the hell outta dodge. It feels like the wisest course of action. Keep an eye open for strays who can't remember which way the exits are.
Damn, he hopes the stairs aren't missing pieces. ]

What she is is a Greeter-slash-hunter who just nearly shit her pants. And, okay, may or may not have dropped into an old-style bomb drill position hiding behind the couch. She emerges from crash position, coughing and swatting through clouds of plaster dust and screams out in instinct, squinting through the dust.]
Bobby? Bobby!
[She can't tell yet, but all of the plaster is coming from a huge crack in the ceiling- her own apartment is so far undamaged.]

Now to utilize his amazing powers of concern while he does that!! ]
Broken bones, missing parts?

[Wonder twin powers ACTIVATE.]
You?
[She knows the apartment well enough to pick through to where he was last time she saw him- slowly, in case he's on the floor, even though given the evenness in his voice she thinks it's unlikely.]

...stuck?
[Up there,, he means.]

... Maybe. You don't think the building will collapse do you?
[She didn't hear any strange grinding or feel the building moving beneath her feet. She had to assume for now that they had some time to get out and to safety.]

Maybe.
[Echoing her. A careful listener might detect a hint of sarcasm.]

Bomb. Terrorist attack. SPPD received a vague threat a few days ago. This is either the threat or a distraction.
[His voice is level and quiet. He is a terrorist, he knows what this is and what it could be. He knows what he would do.]

[He picks up a rock, examines it, and drops it again.]

[People seem to have the evacuation efforts well enough in hand, but after the Darkness falls, there is need for those who can fight to cover the others' escapes. And that's what he's here for.
[His zanpakutou is released to shikai level -- no sense in going overboard -- and anyone who looks up will be able to see Hyourinmaru cut an icy swathe through the sky, plowing through any monsters that dare come too close.
[He'll be here as long as he needs to be, until everyone is accounted for.]

This time, anyway.
Still doesn't help that the blasts threw him bodily across the room with all the broken glass. He's use to it. And even if he recovers as fast as he can, seeing this sight is something he wasn't expecting now that he's in this city.
Gaping out the now-open window at the ice dragon for almost a full minute is probably not the best thing to do in an emergency situation.]

[He sends Hyourinmaru straight past that window, slamming into yet another Darkness monster while he stands on a reiatsu platform right next to this idiot who won't stop staring.] What do you think you're doing? Stop gawking and get out of there.

I- I'm gonna do that! This is just surprising to me since, well, I just got here.

Soul groaned. He was half on his side, and half on his front. A bubble of nausea rocketed through him and he just barely stopped himself from vomiting. A part of him registered that that was a sign of a concussion, but the rest of him felt odd, almost too weak and in pain than he should be. He tested the movement of his limbs first, glad to find that none were broken as far as he could tell.
But then his ribs and shoulder blades flared up in agony. The wings under his shirt and jacket were being crushed by a large piece of concrete and he was vaguely sure by the feel of it when he tried to move them, one was almost severed. Then he tasted blood coming up his throat.
Fantastic.]
