[Tenma had come to the party with Nina, but he was more used to staying on the side with a drink in his hand, watching everything that was going on. It was a pretty big party, and it all seemed like a lot of fun. He'd go around and say hi to some people, but for now he just smiled at everything and nursed a beer.

She slips up behind him holding a plate.]

[He totally noticed her before this. He really did, and that jumping thing he did when he heard her whisper behind him? It's because he just wanted to jump for no apparent reason.
