[ Today, you may find either Spider-man or Peter Parker doing what they do best all around the port -- saving lives as a "superhero", and making sure people remember the tragedy through photographs. You can speak to either of them during their down time, or even crash in while they're busy with their respective jobs. Just make sure to specify a time, date, and placing ( ... )

Mall - Throughout the Day walkthedawn August 16 2011, 17:14:11 UTC
[The mall has taken very minimal damage, not enough to compromise Darkness-proofing. The problem is that it's now going to be the hotspot for people to take refuge in until their homes are fixed or until conditions improve in the streets.]

Felton Theater walkthedawn August 16 2011, 17:15:33 UTC
[The theater will house anyone it needs to, including anyone who's mildly injured and doesn't need to see a doctor, but might need a bandage or some painkillers. There are open apartments for people to rent out for the night as well.

There's more than a few healers present as well, just in case, and Riku can portal people home if necessary.]

[Cohen watches the influx of occupants of the theater increase as time rolls by. The theater, much to his relief, was intact. A few fragile things had been shattered, but otherwise the place held firm and strong. He flits through the hallways and rooms, each teaming with with people.

The sight brings memories back, bubbling to the surface, oozing from whatever recesses he'd shoved them into in hopes that Rapture would stay behind him. A silly thing to want, it was as much apart of him as it was Ryan - and...everyone else there.

He sees a man with a bandage around his head, his arms...and all Cohen can think is just add a tumor here, a little ADAM there...a mask...]

Mister Cohen! [Kimihiko's seen the man, although he hasn't really spoken to him before. He does, however, know who he is. So it's with a polite smile that he appeaches him. He's worried about Shinji, who hasn't come home yet, but there's no sense in worrying about him - or showing his concern. Shinji is Shinji.]

Is there anything I can do to help?

[ He's lingering at Sector 4, 8, 9, and 10, especially at areas with little light and where the monsters are. Nowadays he got himself a neat little motorcycle, so his patrol rounds are spread a little larger- and he will be on patrol the entire time, to make sure that people don't get injured by the Darkness, and to find safe places for them to stay. The Mall might get pretty crowded with Bat-refugees after a while.

The objective is simple: to keep as many people from being killed and being injured as much as possible, and given this night, the bounty hunters won't be as numerous as they usually are (and then again, the numbers are already trickling, especially when he's been claimed).

There's no one he will leave in the lurch. If you need help, and he's there, he will be there. ]

[ ooc; uhm, if possible, label a timing? It'll be a great help! ]

[ Skye is usually the place he goes to when he has injured, simply because he knows one of the doctors there and said doctor owes him a favour. Which means that there's less of a chance of the doctors and nurses trying to be overly smart and try to shoot him with a tranquilizer in order to claim the bounty on him. (And no, he doesn't think that him having to consider that to be strange.)

This time it's a girl who has been buried underneath rubble for a little too long. One arm is bend out of shape and hugged towards her body, but she's conscious enough to hold onto him with the other arm, even though she seems half unconscious already. Bruce breathes in quietly as he drives into the lot, getting off the bike and pulling the girl into his arms. She barely resists, and that worries him even as he sees Daedalus out of the corner of his eyes. ]

[Half-buried...

Usually, descriptions of accidents are something to transfer swiftly and directly to the nurse handling paperwork, but there have been too many cases tonight that have made his hands shake, filled him with a feeling of tense nausea not unlike that sensation upon his arrival in the Port.

...underneath a three-story building, before I found her....Daedalus watches the girl numbly as Batman takes her into his arms, knowing there hadn't been any masked crusading heroes or winged angels willing to save him from a collapsing city he'd tilted into motion. All dead, or fled, except Re-l. And when he'd known the concrete and steel had crushed too much of his ribcage, when he couldn't feel his legs, he'd told her to run, save herself ( ... )

Sector 4, Night - Roxas, Xigbar, Sora pullsheavendown August 16 2011, 18:07:57 UTC
[They got off lucky. No injuries, no extensive damage-nothing that's obvious upon a cursory examination, anyway. That doesn't mean everyone else will fare as well.

The earthquake has affected the monsters of the night as it has the denizens of the day. Roxas sees that as soon as he hears his first unearthly shriek from an agitated creature after night has fallen. They're stirred up, and people's homes are going to be in more danger than usual tonight. But that doesn't mean they're without defenses.

He's on a lonely stretch of block, but he knows others will be out tonight, protecting those that need protection. He doesn't particularly need the company, but it's good to know they're there. None of them are in this alone. He draws Oathkeeper and Oblivion and goes to work.]

[ He's been busy all day, organizing relief measures and getting the corporation kicked into high gear. To say he foresaw an event like this might be a little of an exaggeration, but one never looks a gift horse in the mouth. This is the Organization's chance to shine, and he intends to make it so.

Briefly forsaking his patrol of Sectors 9 and 10, he pops over to Sector 4 for a change of pace. A very would-be heroes pulled out of harms way and delivered to Skye later he's above the streets again, hovering and walking on walls as the situation would have it. He just happens to look down and spot a familiar figure, surrounded by creatures of the night.

He does well, all things considered, right until the end when a misshapen thing rises up behind him, unnoticed. A tiny smirk slanting the corner of his mouth, he dives, opening fire just as it pounces. Seeing it reduced to sludge, he catches himself mid-descent and lands neatly on the ground.

He straightens, the hood obscuring his features. ]Better watch your back, kiddo! There's ( ... )

[It's not that the thing escaped his notice completely-he sensed the change in the air just before it would have struck. He's fast and powerful in his own right, but there's no guarantee he could have escaped without serious injury.

There's no guarantee he couldn't have, either. He knows who assisted him from the familiar sight and sound of the projectiles; when Xigbar lands, Roxas is already frowning at him from beneath his own hood. Even if his former comrade can't see the expression, he probably knows it's there anyway.]

Thanks for the help. I'll keep that in mind.

[He turns back to face the night. The message is clear: get going.]

[ Oh, he most certainly can. That doesn't mean he's about to leave, though. Or at least, not unless it's on his own terms. ]

What's your hurry, kiddo?

[ If Roxas bothers to look up, he'll see a certain Nobody walking on the walls. ]

Not enough critters around here for ya?

[ He gestures, and sure enough, there's more of them gathering as he speaks. ]

Nearing and after sirens (Throughout the city) icy_heavens August 16 2011, 18:45:28 UTC
[He hadn't appreciated being awakened so early by that rumbling. Fortunately, though the house had rattled thoroughly, there was no damage to the proofing. Others, he knows, were not so lucky as that.

[Which is why he's making it his business to scout out safe areas and bring people to them as the threat of the Darkness looms. Shunpo ensures that he can take these measures all over the city. People who need help can find themselves whisked off at high speeds toward the nearest viable shelter. And he will not turn down those that offer to assist him in his efforts.

[The more people that are safe, the better.]
