[Backdated] Sleeping Beauty

 Who: Kurogane, Fai D. Flourite, Kinomoto Sakura, and open to Nemu
When: July 18th, shortly after Kurogane's arrival.
Where: Skye Medical Centre.
Summary: Kurogane arrives to find all is not well with his idiot traveling companion and their not daughter. 
Warnings: Stubborn mage and more stubborn ninja? Other than that, maybe mind language.

[The location had been found easily enough, though the room slightly harder. Perhaps he could have gone about that whole asking thing better, but he didn't have time for the questions that would have come otherwise, and when a direct route was present, it was often best taken.

Besides, one way or another, he would have ended up here. In a room unlike any other he had been in, clinical in every sense of the word. Clean, precise, and yet impossibly complicated. Yet all of this, he knew, would make no difference when it came to reviving the man on the bed.

Kurogane folds his arms over his chest, mouth a tight line, eyes fixed on Fai's figure. There wouldn't be any feeding in this state, but blood was needed. In a place like this, that shouldn't prove a problem. Hopefully.

One way or another though. . .]

There's got to be some sort of nurse or doctor around here, right?

[Red eyes slips towards the young girl to the side. Remarkable like the princess but now that she's there before him, not her at all.]

[ Drifting in and out of sleep, Sakura was trying her best to keep the promises she made to those who responded to her call for help.

She did get to sleep eventually, drifting in and out, only to startle awake when her mind tricked her into believing that Fai was awake.

That call on the network Kurogane made kept her awake for a while, putting a short pause on her repetitive state, but waiting for Fai's friend seemed to take forever, and her tired eyes began to drift again.

Sakura became used to people walking by, so it catches her off guard when Kurogane speaks up. She jumps, and blinks slowly, trying to comprehend what has been said. ]

Hoe?

[ It takes Sakura a moment to realize who is talking, and she becomes slightly more attentive. ]

They are running tests. [ A dash of hope. ] Do you know why he is sick? We can call the doctors.

They keep asking questions I don't have answers to.

[She had been keeping the Bistro running taking up more and more duties when the young man had slowly succumb to his sickness, and running the business after he fell into a coma. Thus, Nemu had little time to check on the young girl during the day, so she entrusted her well being to the hospital staff until the Bistro's doors closed, and she was able to check on Sakura on her own.

It was late afternoon when the Hospital entrance doors opened allowing entry to the young woman. She already knew the room she intended to "visit", so she walked past the nurses station heading for the elevator. She waited in silence as the mechanical lift lifted her up several stories, the doors opening when they reached the desired floor.

Nemu stepped out of the elevator, and turned right, turquoise eyes searching for a specific number that marked every room.]

Yeah. . .you could say I know why.

[But whether it was something worth putting before this particular version of his 'princess', Kurogane didn't know. He stands, silent, arms folded over his chest and mouth a light line. The answer was clear enough to him, but he had no understanding of this current situation, the one between this Sakura and Fai. A balance he wasn't certain he cared to disrupt when so much else was already shifted.]

If you can get someone here that can get us the equipment, we can fix this guy up.

[Hopefully. It seemed likely enough, but who was to say there wasn't some other working in this world playing into Fai's condition. But. . .well, there was one way to figure out which was right, and he didn't intend on standing here debating between which was ore correct to follow.

Before he can speak again, however, his gaze travels towards the door. The tread of someone approaching but which. . .who. . .Kurogane doesn't move, but instead, accounts for those within the room and simply waits.]

[ Sakura blinks. She didn't expect him to be vague, but she didn't want to push the subject. She is just glad that there is something that can be done now! ]

I can go get someone right away!

[ She stands up from the chair she is sitting in, and stretches. It has been a long time since she left chair, and much longer since she left the room, but now that Fai's friend was here, she knew that Fai was going to be all right now! ]
