[Backdated] Sleeping Beauty
Who: Kurogane, Fai D. Flourite, Kinomoto Sakura, and open to Nemu
When: July 18th, shortly after Kurogane's arrival.
Where: Skye Medical Centre.
Summary: Kurogane arrives to find all is not well with his idiot traveling companion and their not daughter.
Warnings: Stubborn mage and more stubborn ninja? Other than that, maybe mind language.
[Modern hospitals are, by and large, the same no matter the dimension. Dull, pale walls to reflect the pallor that lingers from one bed to another, the steady beep and whirring of this machine or that meant to anchor human life to the flesh that house it, muted conversations and not-so-muted televisions that the well and infirmed can use as distractions from the reality confined within those four walls.
A place to wait for those humans still holding on to a thread of life to get well or die - or a place for those not quite human anymore to fade away.
That, unfortunately, is what the formerly absent ninja is going to find: a room with a young lady worrying over a supine form, and a companion that is far too pale above the white sheets. Each breath is soft, shallow, and drawn out a little too long as he slips slowly deeper.
What Kurogane will find, is one magician turned vampire who is resting quite peacefully in a starvation-induced coma and one little girl sitting beside his bed, waiting on her friend to open his eye.]
