It was a decent walk from his new place in Sector 4 to the baseball diamond where the new arrivals always landed, and Kazuma had walked it at a decently fast pace. He wasn't running, though he wanted to, but he wanted even less to freak the poor girl out by showing up panting and exhausted. They had to beat the clock, though, because if those sirens went off...

He didn't want to think about that.

He made it to the diamond, walking past the greeters with an annoyed grunt. She was the only person in the actual area, and though he didn't know what the girl looked like it was easy to figure out who Nadeko was.

She opened her eyes after a few moments, lifting her head a little bit and looking around again for any sign of the boy who had contacted her. She spotted a figure coming in her direction, and her eyes widened a little. The thought crossed her mind to call out to him, but as she opened her mouth to do just that, she realized she didn't know his name.

So Nadeko stayed where she was, as per his request, just waiting for him to get close enough.

Kazuma picked up his pace as he entered, hands stuffed in the pockets of his jacket and breath pluming in cold clouds in front of him. His laptop bag was around his shoulder, laptop inside as it also acted as his NV.

"Hey..." he said once he got close enough, "You're the new girl, right?"

Nadeko looked at him and nodded a little, flipping her phone closed and putting it into her pocket. Now free of the phone, she realized just how hard she'd been holding it; her knuckles ached, whereas they hadn't before.

"T-Thank you," she said quietly, "For coming here." She was still trembling a little, but other than that, she was maintaining some sort of calm outward appearance.

She tried to take a step, and found that despite being somewhat comfortable with standing now, her muscles were screaming at her as she stepped forward. It was almost enough to make her knees buckle under her, but she held tough and maintained a standing position. Like with standing, she'd have to get used to walking while feeling like this, it seemed. She sucked in a breath and let it out slowly.

This was going to be awkward.
