[ the audio function seems to be working fine and dandy right now; everyone's getting a chance to hear a very frantic young girl. the sound seems to be shaky, as does the girl's voice. it might be difficult to hear her at some points. she's pretty scared, yeah. after two very unsuccessful calls to people she knew and trusted, she's pretty darn scared. ]
I-I think I'm lost ... [ she sounds frantic, but she's making a real effort to hold in any giant blasts of emotion for the sake of any hopeful help she could possibly be talking to. ]
I-I think I'm lost! I wandered out too far while helping somebody, a-and ... a-and I- ...
[ she's really, really trying to keep herself from crying too hard. there's a sound that resembles something between a gulp and a sob. ]
