As you all know, my name is Raul Creed. I am head of security here at Lion’s Gate, and previously, back home, I was head of security for my city. To make this easier, if you could introduce yourself to everyone, along with what you do while currently living in Siren’s Port, I believe will make sure that everyone knows who everyone else is.
[Once everyone introduced themselves, the meeting would begin, with everyone taking a seat at the round table.]

[He hums, head resting in his hand and other hand toying with a pencil, holding it vertically against the table by its eraser.]

I suppose we should start with the basics - what do we see as the problems we need to fix, what priority we are assigning them, and what would we want this city to be. I would be surprised if there was less than have a dozen differing ideas between us, but without a clear idea of what we are wanting to do, we're nothing more than children playing beside each other.
As I have said to a few others, this island is not that dissimilar from the country that has become my home, and faces some of the same challenges. But given in my world, Genosha devolved into civil war before things were stabilized. I'd prefer that not to happen here.
[He's prefer it, but he was not opposed to it - but he was willing to find another way.]

The problems are many, obviously. The police force is corrupt save for a few individuals, the Chief included. The companies are the greatest source of economy that this city has and yet they can control anything they want. There's a huge disparity between the upper class and the lower class; crime runs rampant in smaller and poorer districts and shows no sign of stopping. Even our own newcomers vary between helping and being trouble. We've been the bane of their existence, here.
[She pauses.]
The only person who stands between the companies and holds any sway is Governor Redgrave...and no one's heard from him since the Core news came out. So far, he has offered us help and then immediately withdrew from the public view.
If the newcomers have any hope of making a change in this world, then I believe we need to run for a public office and start making a difference.

You all have papers on what we have discussed, and I am sure there are those who have taken notes. For those who haven’t, I will have my personal assistant send you the minutes of this meeting. For now, lets take a break, and we will reconvene in half an hour.
There is food and drink for those who wish for some.
[With that, he pulled away from the table to check on some things, letting everyone mingle about and discuss what they had just heard.]

[Raul stood next to him, voice soft enough so that it was a conversation for two.]
We have connections with the main prosecutors office, but to have someone on the other side of the law is always needed.

[His mouth is still painfully dry but it seems rude to have more than a tiny sip. Even that helps, though.]
It's great to see so many people driving toward the same goal, wanting the same thing, even though we're all so different.

It was really left up to everyone else what would happen next.]
