It's been a few days now... and it might be still too early to tell... but I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep at night for a while. ... Maybe never. I don't know.

I'll be laying in bed just about to nod off and then out of where I'll hear something... well actually I think that I hear something and then it's even harder to go to sleep ( Read more... )

Yeah, you're right about that. But still... feeling that way doesn't really make things any better. Everyone needs at least someplace where they feel safe, right?

I just hate feeling like I'm trapped. I don't mind being cautious, but at one point it ... just... [sigh] I probably just need more time to get used to this place.

I'd rather be too relaxed than too stressed out. At least then I'd have a little bit of peace.

Sorry Rinoa - I won't be working the night shift much longer. I'm just covering until Eric recovers from his injuries, and he worked nights only three days out of the week.

I'm off night work tomorrow, if you like I can show you around properly tomorrow after I get off work from the Khave.

Um. I don't think I'm ready to go out at night on my own. But... I'll keep in mind where the keys are. And don't worry about being quiet because I'll probably still be up.

No I won't. Lots of people work all night and sleep during the day. I'm sure it will just take a few days of me staying up all night and sleeping after the morning Sirens go off. I'll figure out some way to block out the light from the windows so it's dark enough I can sleep.

Hmm...well, I worked as a server at Mocha Maiden for a while, a trendy coffee place not too far from here. Working as a greeter is a great way to start, since then you don't have to pay for rent either.

I've never done that sort of thing before. But... [pause.] I've never actually had a real job before. It doesn't look like getting people coffee would be hard. ... but I probably will be a Greeter eventually.
