Ah, it appears that a mentally deficient spastic has wandered into my midst. You could have made this all much simpler, but saying nothing at all. Especially since your angry statement has no bearing on what kinds of question I ask.

Justice is correct retribution for crimes committed.

That's all relative to culture though, isn't it?

And to the individual. What seems just to one may seem unjust to another. Which is why we must defer to the law.

The gap between what's law and what's just is often quite large.

Justice. The word seems to have been thrown around a lot without actual thought, or meaning attached to it.

It’s the supposed act of introducing fairness into a society. The opposite of a just society would be a tyrannical society. A society that’s ruled by the beliefs and self interest of a single man, opposed to the society as a whole. Although, most represent justice through biased acts and unfavorable morality. The term blind justice isn’t one that is represented in this city- In fact, I believe this cities police force to be far from just.

If anything, it’s men parading around in police uniforms pretending to understand the concept of “justice”, but I digress.

The main law enforcement body of my world is little different. I've seen many of them just as bad as us pirates.

It's good to see corruption spreads from world to world.

More like the seeds are already there. This is the natural progression of power.

[ did someone say "justice"? he knows that justice is different for everyone, but to him- ]

It's the administration of rightful law! That rightness and morality is given and served accordingly among the people.

What if they're not just? What if you're being used by those laws?

I said generally. I don't advocate anarchy or lawlessness, but if something's in strong conflict with my personal morals then I'm not beyond questioning that. I wouldn't execute someone in cold blood just because a superior officer ordered me to.

That said, I can acknowledge that I don't know everything. The people in charge and lawmakers have more experience, so I'm going to keep their recommendations in mind. Especially if there's a chance my emotion could be affecting my judgment.

Hm. I suppose that's a well-thought out answer.
