[Dryly. And then, a cursory glance downward again, before looking back at the NV.]

He's suffering from the effects of a very poor decision in a motel room. I should probably get him tested, but --

[He shrugs a shoulder.]

I'm not doing anything with him, so.

[Mildly, and Crowley shifts lightly. He's nudging Castiel with his foot.]

[He mouths 'Mister Crowley' to himself for a moment before deciding that he quite likes that, so he doesn't bother correcting her to use something more informal.]

[After sufficient time for Crowley to be unsupervised, Castiel stirs and wakes up, utterly perplexed by the strange view of the room and by what feels like a hellhound headbutting him in the side. As though that would help him recover.]

[When he wakes up, Growley immediately snuffles his face, while Crowley looks over, somewhat disinterested, but he makes no move to help the angel back up.]

That's what draining pints of blood at a time will do to you, so I'm told.

[He sips his scotch.]

[He shoves at the insistent hellhound for a moment to try to get her out of his face, before he instead just grabs her by the collar and uses that to pull himself to sit up. Then what Crowley said sunk in.]

[The dog lets Castiel pull himself up -- even helping with a slight tug, to get him to sit up, before sitting near him to let him use her as a stable grounding, nose at his cheek to keep him awake.

Crowley, on the other hand, still has made no movement to help him up, continuing to lean against the counter. When he speaks, his tone is curt.]

Why is it that you all think I'm stupid?

You'd have to sit down with a tall drink for that story. It's long. But basically I used to be affiliated with 'em, then I ended up bein' kidnapped by them and sold into slavery. An' more recently, they sent someone to rob my club and murder one of my managers. So we don't get on.
