Is that tea?

[Totally not related to Iroh's questions, but you know.]

Of course. It is a white tea to be precise.

[Iroh could probably talk for days about tea, so he doesn't mind]

Leaves, or those . . . packet things?

[Rimudo has still not figured those out.]

I much prefer leaves. Packets take out some of the dignity of the tea, though if you are in a pinch they will do.

[Ah, there's someone she enjoys talking to. Still works for her too? She's leaning on the desk in the office in the back of the restaurant, looking at the video feed]

Woodworking? Are you having something made for you?

Yes, there is a particular game I would like to begin playing again, and it requires the creation of a table and tiles.

[Iroh admired Nami's knack for business, she seemed to be quite good with money, he was pleased to be working for her]

A game hmm? [Ya know, he could set up a game room in the shop and invite old guys to come and play. She wouldn't mind. But yes, she is good with money, and some how got stuck with too many businesses. Personally, she hates it, but the money is nice]

What kind of game? Something from home?

Yes, it is a strategy type game from back home, though to some it is much more then a game.

[He pauses for a moment and sips at his tea]

I plan to copyright it, and then spread the game around.

[He's been reading up on business law. While he would prefer to maintain the integrity of Pai Sho, it could provide the money to fund his tea shop. Having business oriented ideas also would spread it around faster then trying to make it part of the culture]

One religious. One commercial. Very different.

[Well that made sense to a degree.]

I see... would you be so kind as to indicate the differences?

I can tell you some things about Christmas. I don't celebrate it anymore but I spent sixteen years celebrating it.

[Smiling.]

Ask anything you'd like.

Ah, well what do you do to celebrate the holiday, and who is this Santa Clause and elves I keep reading about?

[There seems to be a lot of lore surrounding the holiday, he wasn't sure which was more important]

My family usually spent Christmas eve together, and then Christmas morning we'd pass out gifts. Mostly just selfish stuff then.

And Santa is supposed to be based on a real man named Kris Kringle. Every night on Christmas Eve, Santa travels to every home in the world and leaves gifts for good boys and girls while naughty children are supposed to get coal. His elves are his helpers in the North Pole, they make all the toys and everything.

I see, and what kind of gifts are given?

[He strokes his beard]

I see, so Kris Kringle was a real man. How much of the rest is a legend, and how much of it is real?

Christianity. I mean, it's still a religious holiday, but no one pays much attention to that part anymore. It's not even the most important holiday for the church, but everyone treats it like the be-all-end-all.

Ah, I know nothing about Christianity. There was no such religion in my world. The nature of the world is change, holidays and events will change their meaning based upon actions in the present.
