I can tell you some things about Christmas. I don't celebrate it anymore but I spent sixteen years celebrating it.

Ah, well what do you do to celebrate the holiday, and who is this Santa Clause and elves I keep reading about?

My family usually spent Christmas eve together, and then Christmas morning we'd pass out gifts. Mostly just selfish stuff then.

And Santa is supposed to be based on a real man named Kris Kringle. Every night on Christmas Eve, Santa travels to every home in the world and leaves gifts for good boys and girls while naughty children are supposed to get coal. His elves are his helpers in the North Pole, they make all the toys and everything.

I see, so Kris Kringle was a real man. How much of the rest is a legend, and how much of it is real?

Usually people buy things that their friends or family would like.

According to what I learned, yeah, he was. I think everything about living at the North Pole, the flying reindeer and delivering gifts to everyone in the world in one night is the legend stuff.

That makes sense. Though there are two water tribes in my world in the North and South pole, or close enough to them, so surviving in the north is quite possible.

Oh yes, though the ability to bend water is certainly a tremendous help to them.

In my world, different people have different connections to either fire, air, earth, or water, and are able to manipulate one of the elements. The waterbenders learned how to bend from the spirits of the moon and the ocean.

Yes, bending itself is enjoyable, and useful, but as with any power, it can amd has been misused.

Weapons are useful, but it is best to be prepared for unarmed combat. I'm surprised you don't, especially if you get caught out after dark!
