[Iroh is kneeling by a table, with a cup of steaming hot tea beside him. His expression is calm, but kindly, he appears well rested enough, and is wearing a set of clothing similar to what he had worn in the fire nation

[Ah, there's someone she enjoys talking to. Still works for her too? She's leaning on the desk in the office in the back of the restaurant, looking at the video feed]
Woodworking? Are you having something made for you?
A game hmm? [Ya know, he could set up a game room in the shop and invite old guys to come and play. She wouldn't mind. But yes, she is good with money, and some how got stuck with too many businesses. Personally, she hates it, but the money is nice]
Yes, it is a strategy type game from back home, though to some it is much more then a game.
[He pauses for a moment and sips at his tea]
I plan to copyright it, and then spread the game around.
[He's been reading up on business law. While he would prefer to maintain the integrity of Pai Sho, it could provide the money to fund his tea shop. Having business oriented ideas also would spread it around faster then trying to make it part of the culture]
Hmmm [chin stroke. Sounds like a good business idea ]
Copyrighting it is a good idea. Have you considered selling the game idea to Spark's casino? I hear they like to buy new game ideas and collect off world ideas. Might be a good way to get it known too.
[If he ever needed some funding to start that tea shop, she's pretty good with helping others get started as well. Lets jsut not ask where the extra money comes from stolen from Sparks Casino by another pirate, shhhh]
I have considered that as well. I simply have to make sure they don't gain the sole rights to it in the contract. As long as that is made clear then it is perfectly acceptable.
[Iroh is fine with that too. He may even teach her some of the hidden messages you can convey within the game. White lotus society style! ]
Their contracts can be tricky, but at least they don't have connections to either company, so that much is good. Read the details well though. [She's a stickler for reading the fine print, but she's pretty sure Iroh is going to be careful too. She likes him. Smart old man and all]
So, strategy game, hmm? You seem like the type. You think it will catch on?
You must weave a tight net to catch an octopus, if it finds an opening, it will squeeze its way out. I will make sure to read the details well and thoroughly, thank you for your concern.
[He laughs]
By type, I assume you mean old! It was popular amongst all ages in my world, so I hope so. But with all of this technology and entertainment available it is hard to say.
Full of wisdom, as always. [She also rather liked the watery connection to her natural element] I'm not too worried about you, that's for sure.
I assure you, I did't mean old. More like... intelligent. Strategy games tend to take brains. You've seen some of my crew mates [The idiots that WERE in the shop and restaurant and now mostly gone, yet again... ffff] It's rare to find someone with a sense of humor, manners as well as a brain. I bet there's a fair enough market out there for it though. Chess seems to go well with some people here.
[Iroh bows] Ah, you are most kind, Nami. Such words are like sweet candy, best to make sure you don't feed too many to me. I am liable to grow three sizes with the praise, and I've only just trimmed down.
[He grins as he pats his stomach]
I certainly hope it catches on, while I have enjoyed playing the other games, I miss what I grew up with.
I've got to keep you happy, right? Besides, I only speak truth. [when it suits he]
Well, if you get a table made for it, let me know? Bring it to the music shop maybe? You can teach me to play, yeah? [someone needs to distract her from work once in a while, right?]
You need to keep yourself happy, Nami. As long as I have my tea and some company, I am happy enough.
I shall let you know. I had hoped to give some work to another newcomer first, but I will have it made eventually regardless. It would be a delight teaching you how to play, it is a game for people of all walks of life, though I think of your crew, you would take to it the quickest.
[He smiles, she had a very interesting crew, they all were very close, but Nami was the brains of the group]
[a small frown at that, but she nodded to the video] I'm happy. [as for her crew? All that was left was her and Zoro (as well as the Princess Vivi). Everyone else disappeared yet again, so its been... weighing on her mind once more.]
No one's stepped up yet to work on it then? I'm sure if you keep poking around someone till take the job. [a snorted laugh] If Robin were here you'd be sure she'd give you a run for your money. The others? [no...]
I get out, old man. [No, no she doesn't. Not really. Or when she does it's more like to get out to go to one office or another, or go smack an idiot in the head and get back to Brookes] But... yeah, I'll try.
Yeah? Anyone I know?
[a chuckle at his shrug though] Give me some time and I'll give you a challenge.
[I'll keep an eye out for it. She needs the distractions anyhow]

[He nags kindly]
There has been one who is willing to give it a try, but it is still up in the air, so details and money still need to be discussed and arranged.
[He shrugs]
It would be good to have a challenging opponent, it improves your game, and makes the experience much better.
[ooc-Awesome, I'll probably throw up a Deadpool NV soon, with a private aside to Nami]

It is possible, he is named Bobby. I only just met him after my broadcast.
[He grins at the comment]
You certainly have the right attitude about it.
[Probably monday]
