I... haven't gotten that far in my life, to when my purpose is over. But I think I'll do whatever I can to help my kind as their High Priestess. I'll be a teacher or I'll serve the High Council. Maybe even train with Sgiach for the better part of a century.

For dreams... I guess, you find a new one but still try hard to find a way to make the other come true.

High Priestess? Does that mean you're... royalty? Or something like royalty?

Finding a new dream might work for most people, but I don't think there's a new one out there for me. I got my first dream when I was a kid. For years, everything I did... I did to try and help make that dream come true.

Not... Exactly. Well, I guess it's something like it. It means that I'll be in charge of a House of Night some day. But because I'm so much more closely tied to Nyx than any other High Priestess, I have a lot more responsibility than any of them.

A dream like that, you shouldn't give up on it then. If it means so much to you, then someday it will come true. It may just take a lot more work than you thought.

Believe me, I don't want to give up on it. It just can't come true anymore. I could keep working at for the rest of my life and it wouldn't happen. Not that I even deserve for it to happen anymore, but... Point is it's impossible now. Mostly because of my own mistakes.
