I fear you just caused an island wide drop in the sale of egg related breakfast foods, doctor.

Did I? For stating the inherently obvious- that it is an egg product?

I believe we've been over the subject on this network before, with both Miss Ahiru and Miss Nana.

No, but if your implications give people the idea of something ludicrous like Darkness chickens, who knows the consequences.

[gdit why does no one get his humor]

I never implied darkness chickens, though if you're to find them anywhere, they'd be in SERO's coop, not Skyline's kitchen.

Expectant mother? Is this about that Darkness brat?

I take it you still watch the five o' clock news in the asylum, then?

Nope. But daddy remembers things, Doc. The Darkness Brat fiasco's been going on a while.

[He leans towards the camera. There are faint, but recent, bruises on his neck. He taps his forehead.]

Folks from my block don't get to watch the News. All those gory details, yanno?

It might upset us.

Ah yes. I'm sure it would disturb you greatly.

That poor child. Well, children.

It's a shame there aren't other options, although I'm suspecting the girl wouldn't like any of them, even if they where available.

[A small laugh but it's with mirth, he's just still getting back on his feet from his self imposed exile of those outside the household.]

I can only imagine Dr. Pyke's reaction.

It's not an easy case, and I can't say I envy the doctors assigned.

Nor the administrator. There was never so much nonsense with the public demanding conspiracy entertainment out of the Health and Welfare division, in Romdeau.

Nor do I.

No so much on Genosha either although other countries had a similar problem.

This aside, how are things at Skye?

At least the circus does not revolve around Samus this time- I don't have to worry about having my face shoved into a plate of eggs.

Busy as always. My supervisor's a bit sore with me for how many times this trial dates has been rescheduled.

Annexation doesn't seem so ludicrous from an outsider's point of view. but I guess you'd have insider's knowledge to that, huh.

Dr. Pyke would sooner hand the hospital off to our resident transients.

[He laughs.]

Wow. That's some resolve. And here my next question was going to be "don't you think everyone person has their price" but I'd say you just answered that, in a way. Or at least hinted to the answer.

The chief director has been called many things, but one thing he's been accused of most is being an advocate for public healthcare. Giving the indigent an option that isn't SERO's waivered medical research programs.

Personally, Dr. Yumeno, I think it's really cool! I wish I found out earlier so I could go visit it!

...You couldn't still get me in, could you? Were you working on the case?

No, I don't work up there in Obstetrics. I'd like to, maybe, someday, but- for now I just know a few of the med students on that floor.

Some of them might humor your questions, if you have them. I'll ask.

I see! Hey, thanks, Doctor.

So, how is it at the clinic, anyway?

The clinic- hasn't had much trouble, since the other week.
