so, i just finished doing a little blog interview with one David Levithan (i'll post a sweet link when it goes up). i really love doing interviews. and david always asks the best, most thoughtful questions about my books. i think, you know...because he's my editor?

anyway...his last question asked me to create a special playlist for my readers.

dang, i already have 6/10 of those songs! maybe that's why i like same difference so much, 'cause i'm already so in tune with it, so to speak. or 'cause it's an awesome book. which it totally is.

and what a fancy link that is. i clicked it.

I really liked the interview over at David's blog. I tried to comment, but had some problems logging in, so I'll just post my comment here -

SAME DIFFERENCE made me want to be able to draw, see the Duchamp exhibit, and attend a pre-college creative program.

I loved the book, especially the portrayal of female friendship - the lows, the highs, and the often confusing in-between times.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who mourns the lost of friends.

Look forward to the next book!
