Japanese Film Festival
The 11th Japanese Film Festival commenced a couple of days ago and I've managed to watch a couple of films over the weekend.

Final stop - Changi Airport
I had a bad feeling during the start of dinner that I was going to have to leave in the middle of dinner, or be late to the airport. As my bags were definitely overweight, I wanted to make sure that I could bring all my bags home to Sydney by checking in early.

Dinner at Turf City
Unfortunately I didn't really get a chance to spend a lot of time with Jo during my Singapore trip, but it was really good that we had dinner together. Even got to meet Sue before we both flew back to Sydney.
It was the Toh-Loh-Shen and 1 Ung family dinner. I told them I could pretend to be a long lost Toh sister...haha...

Chilli crab!
Ok...so it was the final day of my stay in Singapore, and I had yet to eat Singapore chilli crab! Was getting rather disappointed but then luckily there is Leon! Hopefully he likes crab....cos he drove me to East Coast just so we could have crab for lunch. Unfortunately there was only 2 of us, so we could only eat like 1 crab...that's it. Dempsey Road
I was getting rather sick of Orchard, so I asked if I could meet the girls somewhere out of the Orchard area, but still relatively accessible. So...Dempsey Road it was....
The Wine Company...not big on wine but thought it would be a nice experience. We ended up getting 2 German wines, one was sorta lychee flavoured and the other had honey. Both nice ( Read more... ) -
Jalan Kayu, SPCA and xiao long bao
The morning where I overslept....and Leon amazingly got ready in less than half hr. And they still ended up waiting in the car for me...oops.
The original plan was for the Lorong Ah Soo kids to walk over to the marketplace near Laremy's place for breakfast. But when I told Leon I wanted to eat prata for breakfast, I found out that the market didn't ( Read more... ) -

Back to Singapore..meeting the girls
Actually I was in Japan too..but too many photos from that so I'll skip straight to the Singapore segment. Hmm maybe might even set up a separate page for all my holiday shots..not sure lah.
