Last week of Denmark
Well, it's been my last week in Denmark; I had finals like any other university student, but fortunately it was easier than last week. I only had two finals: a short reflection paper for Cross-Cultural Psychology and a test for Nordic Mythology. Everything went fine, I think. I survived Hell Week in Denmark!
As the subject says, I got through "hell week" all right. It was kind of stressful because of all the assignments that I had to do in just that one week, but I got everything done. I'm so glad I did some work over Thanksgiving break because it was so much easier. I am glad to be done with it, although it means that now I only have one week in ( Read more... ) -

I had Thanksgiving even though I'm in Europe!
So, this week was rather short; I only had classes through Wednesday and then I got Thursday, Friday, and the weekend off for Thanksgiving. It was nice to have a few days to get some work done and to try to work ahead on a few of my bigger projects. Well, I'm back in classes. It was a long tedious week, but I think it's because I have had two weeks off from academia. Travel Break Week 2: Rome!
So, for my second week of travel break, I went on the Rome trip that was sponsered by DIS. Before the trip, I took a one credit course called "Classical and Renassiance Rome"; every Tuesday evening, I would get my brain stuffed full of Rome-related information by an amazing professor. Study Break Week 1: Castle Tour through Poland and Germany
Well, I just got back from my first week of travel break; my friends and I went on a castle tour through Germany and Poland. We ended up seeing three castles, two in Germany and one in Poland, and spent a lot of time in trains. midsems week 2
Well, it was week two of midsemesters; I had 3 tests and 2 papers. I am ambivalent about most of the tests, except for the Danish written exam. I think my papers came out pretty well; we'll see because I won't get the grades until after the semester ( Read more... ) -

Translation: I do not like midsems, but I like the weekend. I have two Danish midsems this week, so I felt I should practice a bit. I was studying earlier as well, so I've got Danish on the brain. Well, this week has been pretty good. This week, I only had one midsemester in Nordic Mythology, which hopefully I did well in. I didn't have too much trouble on the test overall, so it should be okay. These next couple of weeks before travel break are going to be rough though.
