*coughing lightly* I am still sick, but Meg has visited me, which raises my spirits significantly! Also, I am now through to the fourth 'Harry Potter' book. There are French characters in this one, but the main one is portrayed to be something of a... a prima donna, which I resent.

I spent to-day organizing my antique button collection by size, colour, number of holes, material, and country of origin. I awoke this morning feeling quite refreshed, and decided to take a nice brisk walk and perhaps buy a new hat--but as soon as I stepped out the door I was nearly run over by a horseless carriage barrelling down the road faster than . . . than . . . something very fast!
