The Real World: Paris Opera

Goodness. Today was a thrilling day!

All of the 'Real World' roommates met up for the first time--well, it was really more of a reunion, since we're all acquainted. I unpacked my things and set about decorating the grand foyer, as it's almost Christmas, and it would be a shame not to show some cheer. I wonder if Erik will notice--he always seems like he could do with cheering up, though lately his attitude has been improving. I hung mistletoe over the doorway to his room.

Hee hee.

It was wonderful to see Meg again! Her mother is here too, though, so I'm rather worried that Meg will have to spend all her time practicing and none with me. I hope that isn't the case. Thankfully, Mme. Giry hasn't bothered me much about dancing ever since the night I 'took Paris by storm,' as Erik used to say.

Raoul brought the checkers! I was... almost hoping he would forget. He's awfully enthusiastic about the game, but I'm afraid I just can't take it anymore. The look on his face when I beat him for the seventeenth consecutive time last night was just heartbreaking. He really is a darling. I can't stand to shatter his dream of becoming a world famous checkers champion.
