There should so be Spike/Angel/Dru directly following that scene.
Totally. I mean, Angel with his arms around Dru. Dru holding her arms out to Spike in a "come, join us!" And Angel didn't look like "come try to take her so I can beat you down." He looked like "wanna play?"
Also, Whenever they talk about "the one" and "not the one" I hear Zathras from Babylon 5. Snerk.
I was sitting there thinking "wait, he's not the one? Is that because they're ALL the one?" And I said "oooh, I get it now. Angel is the one who was. Spike is the one who is. And... someone else is the one who will be." *snerk*
That was so a "wanna play?" look. Were we supposed to interpret it as anything else?
And, heh, B5 is ever helpful. I was hoping, had that been a real cup, that some third vamp-with-a-soul would come snatch it up while they were fighting.
Well, I think she's pretty (although too skinny), but that's vastly overshadowed by the fact that every time she opens her mouth I want her gone. *g*
And I have to add to the chorus about the bloody-pulp. Neither of them is the hero in this episode, I don't think. There didn't seem to be a "hero" of the episode at all.
I find it helps if you don't actually pay attention to what she's saying.
I'm just not willing to buy that beating each other bloody is any kind of heroic action. They both seemed to be in it for some sort of personal satisfaction.
That would be a good meme-opinion. I don't hate Eve as much as everyone else seems to. I do think she's pretty, and I see how you could think she's annoying, but, hey, someone has to do the exposition, right? It doesn't really bother me as much as it's bothering other people.
Yep, Dru is still alive. She last showed up in Buffy season five - "Crush," which was...kind of a painful episode. If you're me. *g* I'm hoping she'll get to make some in-the-present appearances this season. It would make the presence of stupid Spike kind of almost worthwhile.
I would maybe want someone good who didn't want to kill all his rivals to be, like, the chosen one.
::nodding:: Seriously.
Am I a bad person for wanting Fred/Eve? Probably.
I saw the slashiness, I just don't want to see more of it. But that's me. You can want it all you, um, want. Or you can want Fred/Eve/Lindsey. Or whatever.

I wonder why they can't just have her in the present. They seem to like to bring all our old favorites back...
