I am informed that this is sweeps week for TV. Well, that explains why Stuff Happened, doesn't it?
SV:
Dude. That was pretty cool. I'm sure all the Clark/Lex fans enjoyed it, eh?
Poor Lana. Poor Lex. Lex isn't going to really have found out Clark's secret and go evil now, is he? Maybe he won't remember. He is kind of insane and having horrible things done to him by his father, after all. I wonder how they'll get out of that one.
I feel like a bad person for not being appropriately moved by the Johnny Cash song. I would have been if I had never heard it before. It is, in fact, his cover of a Nine Inch Nails song, which is kind of weird. Also it ended up on
antigone921's CD of weird cover songs, which my housemates really like and were playing very loudly while we were watching TTT prior to SV. So my reaction was not so much *sniffsniff* as "Dude, that song's on your CD and we just heard it half an hour ago."
It is quite a good song though. Probably my favorite on that compilation CD.
Angel:
Lindsey's back. Uh, okay.
Spike is corporeal. Yay?
Yay, Dru! Dru Dru Dru Dru Dru Dru Dru! I like Dru. I also think Dru is her own person and that Spike is creepily possessive sometimes. There should so be Spike/Angel/Dru directly following that scene. I don't think I want to read it, but there should be. Cool flashbacks, though. That first scene, um, that was really with the Spike/Angel.
I want more Dru. She's not dead-dead, is she? She could come back?
I also also think that if two people are beating each other to a disgustingly bloody pulp about which one of them gets to be the hero, neither of them should really be. I would maybe want someone good who didn't want to kill all his rivals to be, like, the chosen one. But I'm funny like that.
Whenever they talk about "the one" and "not the one" I hear Zathras from Babylon 5. Snerk.
Am I a bad person for wanting Fred/Eve? Probably. She's all evil and all. But pretty. I probably shouldn't think she's pretty. I seem to anyway. And I liked the prophecy dude, even if he's all evil too. He was snarkycool. (Apparently I want my heroes to be all moral and stuff, but I'm perfectly okay with evil being evil as long as it is pretty and/or snarkyfun. Hmm.)
