Tru Calling 1x04: "Past Tense"
Still pretty. Still bad. But pretty.
Pretty Tru. Prettypretty. Mmmmmm. Nice tanktop. Also Tru and her friend Lindsay are kind of slashy. It's cute. Cutecute. Yay, slash. Is anyone going to write that? Someone should.
Tru and the stripper, however, are not slashy. I don't know how they managed that, but they did. Also it's all kind of icky and objectifying, I thought.
As Jen was pointing out, the plot of this show is getting a little old. Every single episode, Tru has some theory about how these people died and thinks she knows how to prevent it, then does that, then it turns out the people are still in danger so she has to prevent that too. You can pretty much write off whatever her first idea is.
I bet her co-worker really hates her now. Or at least is going to want an explanation.
It sort of irks me that she's using her redone days to fix her personal life -- plan her friend's birthday party, give her sister a heads-up about the drug test, whatever. At least she didn't get the guy. If she were concentrating on solving the murders, maybe she'd be right the first time. Hmph.
