Kubla Khan, and also Oz

This evening, my mom insisted that we all go to this thing called the Euphorium, which was this interactive art exhibit based on the poem Kubla Khan. I didn't want to go, but I went anyway, and it ended up being horribly tacky. Basically, bits of the poem were played to music while I walked through a darkened room. They had us wear these helmets ( Read more... )

Um, I'm sorry me again. I loved this show so so much that I have to comment on it. Well, the on screen slashiness comes at around season two, and boy is it slashy. Oz fanfiction. Wouldn't be an understatement to say - best fanfiction, ever. Read most of it before I even watched a full episode. The main archive is down now unfortunately, so the best stuff is kind of scattered. Most of the fics are set during S2 onwards though, I don't think there was a fandom during S1(although there was an author that thought that Beecher/Schillinger were all that, and because she was *that* good, I agreed) Um, yes. Will stop now. I could go on forever, unfortunately, don't give me that chance.

Having seen seasons 1-4 of OZ, I must say that it is not one of those which go downhill after third. Nope. No way. I like it all of the way through -- and yes, it is probably best not to get /too/ attached, although you won't be able to help yourself. What they do. Wow. Well, wait for a while ... I think that season 2 is where Beecher and Keller begin to happen.

Okay, that's good to know. How are you getting to see Seasons 1 through 4? Are there episodes downloadable somewhere? I'd really like to see more of it. I wish they'd hurry up and release more DVDs...

I've gotten to see all of OZ because it's on the cable network my family subscribes to. There were episodes available online http://members.aol.com/C5Archive/ at one stage, but I am not certain if there are still stuff there. I doubt there'd be any of 2nd-4th season, instead of 5th.

There would probably be nice, kind people somewhere willing to make you tapes of them. Definitely OZ is one of those shows that deserve to be on DVD.
