Hey, Mar!

*waves back enthusiastically* I tried to answer this late last night, but after writing a big, long and very detailed response, stupid LJ decided to eat it! *kicks LJ* Anyway, after that, I was too tired to write it all over again, so here I am now, back for a second try.

As to where I've been...uh, yeah, that's a looooong, boooooring story! My original disappearance, months ago, was due to an extremely nasty bout of vertigo. It's something I've dealt with on and off since my mid-twenties but, fortunately for me, it only seems to come around now every five or six years. The only bad part about that is, when it does hit, it can be a DOOZY of a case! This one dragged on for a month and a half. Just when I thought I was getting over it, something would cause a setback, and I would be flat on my back again, too dizzy and nauseous to raise my head off the pillow! YUCK!!! *shudders at the memory* When I finally did recover fully, RL seemed to swing into overdrive! It's been peak season for the two hospital volunteer ( ... )

Even though it was long it wasn't boring! *g* RL can butt in at the worst times and just when you're going to be back I will have little time in the next three weeks or more... we're having the roof redone and the entire top floor of the house (redecorating two bathrooms and later on this year the bathroom as well)
I'm glad you're doing better hun! I feel like that when on a great height looking down, so I know how you've been feeling all of the time! Must have been awful!

A second computer can be such a blessing!

Hope to read more from you soon! Oh and I love your comments as much as you like mine! ;p Can't wait to hear more from you soon!
*loves and kisses!*

*g* So glad I didn't bore you half to death! RL certainly can have lousy timing, can't it? I'm sorry to learn that you won't be around as much! I'll miss you! I love reading your comments because you always have the nicest, most upbeat things to say to everybody! Will this affect your posting of ASP? It would be understandable, under the circumstances, but I really hope not, because the more I read of that story, the more addicted I become! Anyway, I wish you the best of luck with all your renovations, hon! That's quite a load to take on all at once, but I'm sure it will be just beautiful when it's all done!

Yeah, vertigo is pretty lousy! No matter if it's caused my a temporary reaction to heights, or an inner ear disorder like mine, the consequences are NOT fun to deal with!!! Thanks so much for your concern, sweetie, I appreciate it more that I can say ( ... )

Hi sweetie!

Glad you enjoyed the poem, and thank you so much for leaving a comment!

Sorry about my unexplained disappearance, hon, but I'm doing just fine now, (you can read my above post to ireth06 if you want all the boring details as to why) and I'm starting to get back into the swing of things. I've missed all of you as well, and you should be seeing a lot more of me from here on out!

*hugs*

I think this is just wonderful. It does have a plot to it and it shows.

Way to go!! I can't write poetry if my life depended on it but this was wonderful.

*hugs* and thanks.

Hi Karina!

Thank you so much for your encouraging feedback! You always say (or should that be write?) the nicest things! It's good to be back and I've missed you as well! RL has settled down a bit, at least for now, anyway, but I have a five day trip coming up on Tuesday! Anyway, I now have consistent access to a computer once again so you should see me on a fairly regular basis once again. I hope all is well with you!

*love and hugs*

Hi Shanni,

I only write the nicest things when I mean them :)
All is well with me, I married my boyfriend after 12 years and we gonna buy the house we are living in hopefully soon. That also means a lot of work with renovation and so on, but I look forward to this.
I hope you have a nice trip next week.
*hugs* Karina

Awww! *blushes* You're such a sweetie!

Wow! CONGRATULATIONS on your marriage!!! I'm thrilled for you! You can tell your new husband from me that he's a very, very lucky guy! May your life together be blessed with joy, peace, and much love!

Buying a house is always such an exciting time, isn't it? Even if there's a lot of work to be done, I think that's half the fun. It gives you the opportunity to put your own personal stamp on everything and really turn it into the home of your dreams. Best of luck, hon!

Thank you for the good wishes, Karina! I'll be back on Saturday, so you should be hearing from me soon. Once again, congrats, sweetie! You deserve all the happiness in the world!

*hugs*

*sigh* This was beautiful!
I specifically love this line :my innocence pure and uncontrived. gorgeous imagery there. :) Although you never express whose POV this is in I really think that's what I like about it. It gets deeper the more I think about it. Simply gorgeous. :)
Where have you been? *g* I could definitely stand to read more of your poetry.
