Hey, Mar!

*waves back enthusiastically* I tried to answer this late last night, but after writing a big, long and very detailed response, stupid LJ decided to eat it! *kicks LJ* Anyway, after that, I was too tired to write it all over again, so here I am now, back for a second try.

As to where I've been...uh, yeah, that's a looooong, boooooring story! My original disappearance, months ago, was due to an extremely nasty bout of vertigo. It's something I've dealt with on and off since my mid-twenties but, fortunately for me, it only seems to come around now every five or six years. The only bad part about that is, when it does hit, it can be a DOOZY of a case! This one dragged on for a month and a half. Just when I thought I was getting over it, something would cause a setback, and I would be flat on my back again, too dizzy and nauseous to raise my head off the pillow! YUCK!!! *shudders at the memory* When I finally did recover fully, RL seemed to swing into overdrive! It's been peak season for the two hospital volunteer ( ... )

Even though it was long it wasn't boring! *g* RL can butt in at the worst times and just when you're going to be back I will have little time in the next three weeks or more... we're having the roof redone and the entire top floor of the house (redecorating two bathrooms and later on this year the bathroom as well)
I'm glad you're doing better hun! I feel like that when on a great height looking down, so I know how you've been feeling all of the time! Must have been awful!

A second computer can be such a blessing!

*g* So glad I didn't bore you half to death! RL certainly can have lousy timing, can't it? I'm sorry to learn that you won't be around as much! I'll miss you! I love reading your comments because you always have the nicest, most upbeat things to say to everybody! Will this affect your posting of ASP? It would be understandable, under the circumstances, but I really hope not, because the more I read of that story, the more addicted I become! Anyway, I wish you the best of luck with all your renovations, hon! That's quite a load to take on all at once, but I'm sure it will be just beautiful when it's all done!

Yeah, vertigo is pretty lousy! No matter if it's caused my a temporary reaction to heights, or an inner ear disorder like mine, the consequences are NOT fun to deal with!!! Thanks so much for your concern, sweetie, I appreciate it more that I can say ( ... )

Yeah, just reread this, and guess what? My absense has NOT improved my typing! The second sentence in the second paragraph was supposed to read "No matter if it's cause BY a temporary reaction..." not "MY a temporary reaction". Sheesh! *facepalm* Sorry about that, Mar!

Don't worry hun I don't plan on not being here at all and posting will continue as always: every Tuesday and Friday. I think the posting will be a highlight of my week! *g* At least it will be something to look forward to. Escape the mess if you will... *lol*

Comments are what writers live for right? I love to read about people thinking along with the story or coming up with creative ways of killing of the bad guy! *g*

Yay!!! I'm SO happy to learn that you'll still be around, and not just becuase you plan to keep posting "A Secret Past" on a regular basis, either! *g* I'll definitely be looking forward to reading more from you, then, whether it's your WONDERFUL story, your fun memes, or your insightful feedback!

You are so right, hon! Comments are a writer's life's blood, and it's always so much fun to learn what everyone thinks about all the various twists and turns a plot can take!

Hi Mar! SO sorry it's taken me such a long time to reply. I've been out of town, so no access to any computers. *unhappy sigh* I did get back late on Saturday, but Sunday was spent catching up on chores and gardening and Monday (Hubby's day off, when he actually gets a chance to take it) was a "play day" for us, so this is the first time I've been on-line since Sunday before last. I promise, I haven't fallen back into my 'evol lurkerish ways', lol! In fact I'm on my way to check out my friends page as soon as I finish responding to comments over here. *glances at the time* Oh, but I need to put the finishing touches on dinner first! And the dryer should be buzzing any minute, so I'll have to fold that last load of laundry. And...well, I'm sure you get the idea! Sheesh, go away for a few days and it's amazing how much you have to catch up on when you return! But I WILL get through it all ( ... )
