Perhaps you needed to walk this show this way, and in doing so, opened yourself to whatever will happen this Spring.

I found myself wanting to sit down over coffee with you and lean in and take your hand and ask you to outline the details of what you've experienced before, what in particular about this show wasn't what you expected...

When you wrote that you are not that girl in the black cap getting smiles from the stage anymore, do you mean that the band is bigger now, that they don't know their own like they did once? And they can't possible be today, in a post-Black Parade world, what they once were? (No matter how great they are now in part for some of the same reasons)

And after we have our coffee heart to heart, I'd want to tell you that the centering sounds like a great plan. For next time. But also, don't put too much pressure on yourself.

This is what I was thinking, too. There's a saying that if you don't pay attention to the gods when they are trying to tell you something, they'll resort to a 2 x 4 to get their message across.

Maybe this was my 2 x 4, and it had let go of the past, idiot child scrawled on it ( ... )
