It's telling that a pregnant woman's health was reduced to being air quoted by John McCain during tonight's debate. Talk about minimization of women and our issues in a moment that is truly illustrative of how we rate in the brain of John McCain.

I have been forced to take time away from hurricane tracking to pay attention to the McCain campaign. I think that John McCain should have asked me to be his running mate instead of Sarah Palin. The Clintons have redeemed themselves in my eyes. Their speeches at the Democratic Convention were rousing and showed real support for Barack Obama. I was very impressed and touched by Michelle Obama's speech and very charmed by young Sasha's hogging of the microphone. When I was seven years old, I liked to play with paper dolls.
