These days I regularly pray for the safety of Barack Obama. The train wreck, otherwise known as the McCain/Palin campaign, has stirred up the worst in some of their supporters. John McCain finally had to stick up for his opponent when a woman at one of his rallies said, "I have read about him. He's an Arab." McCain grabbed the microphone from her shaking his head in disagreement and said, "No, ma'am. He's a decent, family man, a citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign is all about." Now, McCain's defense is lame because Arabs are also decent, family-oriented citizens but at least he felt compelled to stop the woman from going on with her misinformed statement.
Meanwhile, Obama says, "I can take four more weeks of McCain's attacks but America can't take four more years of failed McCain\Bush look alike policies."
