Yes, much like the rest of the world. Mathematics is a singular noun which is plural in form, and should keep the trailing -s when abbreviated.

yeah, but what was this 'force' teachers use? and how much was needed? a long and memorable lesson? a short but harsh test? or painfull revision?I hated school personally, but I also never slept with a teacher!!
