Better days will come! Do not lose hope. I am extremely lucky to have found a job out of college, but I know it's hard out there. Just don't give up, keep sending applications, spice up the resume, follow up with calls or e-mails, and if you land an interview, take the time to thank the interview with a letter or an e-mail.

I know you'll get something! I managed to get something, so I know you can! Just don't lose hope!!

As for everything else, I don't know how you can cook without recipes. I am a recipe type of gal, I hardly experiment, but much like Brian...I am not paying for my ingredients. I should start to mend my ways since I hope to have my own place in a year.

*Word of advice, it's all true, they will only look at your resume for seconds. I see it happen all the time at work. The first time I saw it was for an intern position and the intern pool we were selecting from was from my school. I felt sad and almost guilty that all these students just got 3 seconds of our time.

Yeah, I know. It's hard to stay positive though, going into my 7th month of unemployment. It feels as if no one out there is even willing to give me a chance, even when they do have "now hiring" positions. It's almost as if they're getting ridiculous, saying that they need people, but in reality, they only want The Perfect Candidate. Sigh. I know that they'll only give my resume a brief glance. I'm aware...and saddened. I know that it's one of the many reasons why I have no job right now ( ... )
