Thinking back on it, I'm glad I paid an extra ten dollars for a two year replacement plan for my MP3 player. I'm thinking about taking it back to Best Buy, since it tends to freeze up a lot on me. I just went for the I-Pod because loads of people have them and because they are the quality brand. Plus since I have received excellent customer service last month when my the battery went dodgy and they replaced it witha new one for free.

Hmm, maybe I should have ignored that advice to pass up iPod. Heh. Well, I still have a two year warranty on my Sandisk. So I might just keep getting them replaced for two years (if they really are a bad product overall), then go with an iPod down the road. I also just remembered that I still have my 512 MB no name MP3 player. It's outlasted Sandisk, so I might use that until I make time to get to the store for a replacement.
