Last night my sister, nephew, niece and I went to dinner. We pulled into this little strip mall to go to a little hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant. We went swimming today. I brought an old bathing suit that I didn't know whether it would fit or not. We decided that if it didn't fit, I could buy a new one. Well, it's kind of big in the rear and under the arms (but not in the bust -- I seem to have lost torso circumfrerence, without any real change in my cup size). Since it's Mother's Day, I went to church with my mother. She was a bit addled. Last night she told me that the service started at 10:15. It seemed a bit early, but I figured that it was her church, so she knew when it started. I arrived at 10, assuming that on Mother's Day there would be a crowd. The church was pretty much empty. I just took Momma to the doctor. She is doing much better. I can really tell a major difference, even from earlier this week.

My niece had her baby last night. She's 7 pounds, 1 ounce, and 21 inches long. And she's named after me! I love babies.

I have just come from the family Christmas Eve celebration (not to be confused with the family Christmas Day celebration -- yup, two of them, and I'm not even married!) I am feeling jolly.
