Holy Mother's Day, Batman!

Since it's Mother's Day, I went to church with my mother. She was a bit addled. Last night she told me that the service started at 10:15. It seemed a bit early, but I figured that it was her church, so she knew when it started. I arrived at 10, assuming that on Mother's Day there would be a crowd. The church was pretty much empty. I know this is a really delayed comment but I just wanted to tell you I understand how you feel about casual church services.

I attend a traditional church(nondenominational), and I feel the same way when I go with my friends to their church's contemporary services. I try to always attend the evening service at my church, if I miss the morning for whatever reason.

You're right about the sermon- that is a strange verse to pick for Mother's Day. And he didn't even discuss/explain the hyperbole?
