Looks like when I don't have a meme to post, I don't have a lot to post about. :') Another reason is that work is keeping me really busy, and I when I get home I just have no energy left to do much of anything. Sometimes not even enough to open my laptop and sit behind it to read. Just letting you all know I'm still here, reading, but I might not

There's no harm in being fussy, art is a muse just like writing, and it doesn't always want to play. The art claims are while I'm in Italy and I'm not sure what my internet connection is going to be like, if any, so I might miss out on claiming anyway. I hope not, but like you, if it happens I'll sign up for Pinch hitting and see what happens.

I haven't been able to participate in the BB for the last (how many? too many? sooooo many) years, and it makes me sad every time. :( It's just a hard time to year to work with. Every year I think to myself that it might be a feasible thing, but it never actually is. :\ Which is to say, solidarity! But I hope that when you get home there will still be something that you not only CAN art for, but super super want to art for. <333

You never know with signups; sometimes things so quickly, and they're not the ones you might expect. So see how it goes with the knowledge that you can always pinchhit. As I writer as I'm just as picky with my can dos and cannot dos, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that; we're a big and broad fandom that caters for a lot of people and their differing likes.
