I am glad I'm not a stay-at-home mom.

In other news, I am sweating a letter of intent. A colleague and I are throwing our hat in the ring to be considered for Baron and Baroness of Vatavia. This has been in the works for some time, but I haven't wanted to talk about it until it was made more public in other venues.

teflon_paladin and I cooked our asses off yesterday. Many thanks to him and his eternally patient wife. I have to start over the diet, though.

I now know about Bstilla.

Everyone great despite weather, etc.

Am Ded Now.

So far, so good.

The people of the Barony have been fricking brilliant. I feel odd when people tell me I'm doing a good job, 'cause I didn't do it.

Weather: fantastic.

Attendance: High.

Living history section: Unprecedented.

Now let's get through today.

If I can make it through this weekend without 1) my will to live evaporating or 2) losing my cool and bawling someone out, I will be very grateful.

First off, parent/teacher conference went off beautifully last night. Twinkie the Kid has made major strides since last year. She has really relaxed about school and her peers.
