Okay, figured out my copy of SimPE is missing a few essential tools to do this. Now the problem is finding them. The NVidia page is nonexistent now.
Edit: Can't tell which of the ones on the page are the ones I need. Annoyed. Frustrated. Secretly very glad that my sleeping issues are going to be facing some resolution by next month at the latest. ( Read more... ) -
Somebody turned on the Sky Faucet!
It only really started a few minutes ago, but it is pouring outside! I mean, lake in the back yard in a few minutes level of rainfall! First real rainfall of fall, too. Woo!

Well. One clean install later and . . my game doesn't work. At this point, I'm tempted to fire up a new profile JUST for Sims 2, and see if that fixes the issue. Almost needless to say, the BACC challenge is on hold until I can get this sorted out ( Read more... ) -

Hmmm . .
I think I need a set of modular houses and tiny business lots for this challenge - something simple, and without any custom content. I've got my blank neighborhood set up with my Maxis townies, and backed it up by zipping up a copy for just in case. I also heavily overhauled my downloads.
