There were a lot of awesome things in this chapter. Cas getting his grace back for starters. I kind of think it was consumed in the spell or loose in Heaven, but being tied to Metatron's grace to power him up is an interesting concept. Cas getting in on the torture is good too, brings me back to season 6 when he was working with Crowely and there was always torturing going on. I hope Metatron's telling the truth, and that they reopen Heaven and nothing bad happens to Gabriel when they cast the spell to get the angels' wings back.

I did wonder though, if angels actually need their internal organs, when Gabriel is partially healing Metatron. Jimmy says that Cas hasn't eaten in a year and Cas only eats when he's humanish or under famine's influence. I always kind of assumed that angels just needed the container of the body, not all of the stuff inside it. I wonder who Metatron's vessel is? And now I feel really sorry for them. I hope he's not aware of all the torture and the pain.

"Awesome things?" Yay! I'm so glad you liked it evelyn! Regarding Cas' grace, I always felt like Metatron was holding something back during the show, like he *could* have solved the problem for Cas if he had wanted to, and so as I was writing this, that's what came to me. As for Cas getting in on the torturing, one of my favorite lines regarding Cas was after Cas beat the crap out of Dean and Dean said to Sam something like "Word to the wise, don't piss off the nerd angels!" LOL Cas can have a bit of a temper as has been seen on more than one occasion, but that's what inspired that part

haha, Dean being happy like a child for going to his Disneyland - awesome !!! and Baby....*sigh* I wish I could go with them on a hunt !! and how funny was Gabriel for wanting to go with them too ! ;o) oh, that reminds me: Sam should know that Gabe aka the Trickster lies just s easily as a demon, so I'm afraid he will do something stupid and will enrage Dean ! for his sake, I hope not. yay for Cas getting his grace back, I hope they will manage to open heaven's gates and the angels will forgive them for stealing Metatron and will help them to find what they need to get everybody's wings back !

Believe it or not, It took only a little bit longer to write these last two (long) chapters, as it took to write the other shorter chapters! It just all started coming together at once, ya know? Not sure if I've mentioned it or not, but this is the first and only fanfic I've ever written, and it was while writing these last two chapters that I really started feeling more confident about what I was doing. In fact, I'm almost done editing Ch 9 already as these later chapters don't seem to need near as much editing as the earlier ones did.

Anyway, I'm really so glad you liked it! And thank you very much for the encouraging words! :))

LOL! I'm working on it right now! :)

In fact, I just finished a scene that seriously cracks me up every time I read it! So I'll give you that to look forward to ;)

Oh, and don't let the quickness fool ya, please! LOL. I know I've mentioned this before, though it must have been to someone else, but I've actually already written through Ch 11 and what I'm posting now is just a (IMO, much) better edited version of that. Once I catch up, I imagine the postings will slow down a bit. I think I was writing a chapter about every 2-4 days, depending on how easily the story was coming to me. Then I had to stop for a while as we are moving next Tuesday. I miss it A LOT, but I'm editing these chapters in the evenings to keep myself connected. :)

And thank you so much for that very kind compliment! I honestly had no idea if I would be any good at this at all! I just had so many ideas in my head after that S9 finale and figured, WTH? So I gave it a shot! So thank you! When I say that these comments REALLY mean a lot, they REALLY REALLY DO! :))
