You made me go and cry. And the ending was happy too. You had me going for awhile there.

This was touching and painful, but loved the end.

Thanks, you are an incredible writer.

Yes, I wanted to keep it mysterious because I felt like you'd feel E's emotions better that way. Sorry I made you cry, but you're all happy now, so that's good! Thanks for reading and for such a nice compliment! You are too! S!

I didn't think I could shed any more tears after the last couple of day reading one story after another just wringing my heart out, some of them because of the deep pain they caused, I don't mean the hate your fellow man kind of pain, but the beauty of the story which caused the pain and some for there joy they gave, Each Author gave me something precious to treasure always, you are one of the Authors whom I will hold in my heart always.
Thank you, for this, it is simply beautiful.
Hugs

If you don't mind, would you tell us what you've been reading that's been moving to you? I always like to hear about what other folks are enjoying! I'm reading several stories now that I'm really enjoying, and I know there are more I would life if I got into them, and so many complete ones too.... But I generally just read WIP's between writing...

Thanks for the comment. I'm so glad you enjoyed this. I read a bunch of the other 5 Things and there were so many wonderful entries. I hope this doesn't sound like someone elses. I just wrote it, thought of that as I was ready to post, but maybe not... (Fingers Crossed!!) Big hugs. S!

Thanks for sharing. I'm out of luck on the German language stories, since I'm not fluent in anything but English and Meeow! I didn't read The Last Ember because I never read TGL, and in a way I really want to, but I have to be careful still, after all this time. I read dMP all the way through a few months ago, and it almost did me in... that OCT stuff... and then them dying. I was a freakin' basket case for a week. I love the updates she's doing now... I tell myself that since these parts take place before OCT, that maybe something will happen to change everything and the world won't have to get so messed up! I try to stick mostly to happy stuff. I love Jacks-key. I haven't reread Altitude since she remodelled it, but I want to - I was really enjoying that story. I love In Plain Sight - i met Vic in Chicago at the slash bash last year and became friends with her - she's awesome. I would still love for her to finish Brokeback Redemption.. that was a great story as well. I also am enjoying Fire and Ice, Policy of Truth, and Somewhere ( ... )

I only put the warning on my BBSlash announcement. Folks who don't read that first might not make it through... I hate to spoil it, but sometimes spoilers are good maybe..... hmmm??

Anyway, yes, the BFF FT thingy is in the works, and it's kinda funny and goofy so far. The BetaBabe was LHAO thru the whole thing, which is a good sign!

Thanks for reading. More soon. S!

Now that was gut-wrenching!! george66 November 12 2007, 00:18:49 UTC
Sienna,

I started reading this and I thinking, "I can't finish this - its just too overwhelming" The world you created for Ennis after Jack's "death" was so profoundly sad and tragic. All that remorse, all that loneliness and sadness - I was just dying for my boy!!

But then Ennis felt those warm, strong arms tighten around him kissing and holding him - it was all a dream. ALL A DREAM!! BLESSED DAY THE MORNING!!!

Girl you have me going!! (laughing)

Hey George... glad you didn't figure it out till the end. I wanted it to stay mysterious - i felt like that would make it stronger. In this story, in my mind, E. had a bit of a foreshadowing of what would happen if he didn't get his poo-poo together and make a move, like a really bad feeling of doom, and i think that's what propelled him - maybe he even had this dream way back then, and it's been haunting him every since, of what his life could be like if he lost his nerve.

Thanks for reading, George. big hugs... S!
