Oh man, thought I was going to have a heart attack or something. Whoa, you had me going there for a minute! Have to admit I rushed through it to see where you were taking us, then had to go back and read it more slowly.

As always, I love it! It made it that much more pleasurable to read that Jack was there waiting to tell him "I love you" back. Liked the part too where Jack told him to go back to sleep, wasn't time to open presents yet!

*sobs*... even though you told us already and i knew it's only a nightmare, that amount of regrets... *sighs* just breaks my heart.

but the nightmare serves one good thing to ennis in your story, that's a good reminder of what he nearly missed :)
