As individual Authors you well know they are awesome, together they are dynamite."All Shook Up" by vin_bbmfan,
Night Fire-The Last Ember, by Cinical21, a story that will rip your heart out but gently returns back the pieces.
"Somewhere out There" by melissasjack, very heart wrenching.
"Autumn Heart" by two German Authors,a tender love story.
"Liberation" by rightwhere_u_r the list goes on and on.
Maybe I just cry easy, but judging by other readers comments,I don't think so.Maybe several Authors used, for example the harmonica as part of a story, still each individual Author has a unique way to describe how this silly little instrument affected Ennis or Jack. I just don't no how better to explain why I am affected in different ways by different Authors about the same two men we all love. Oh yes, not to forget jacksraven "dmp" Jacks key "Officer Del Mar". I am retired, have lots of time to read but I do copy and annoy my husband to death, crying or laughing half the night reading in bed.

Thanks for sharing. I'm out of luck on the German language stories, since I'm not fluent in anything but English and Meeow! I didn't read The Last Ember because I never read TGL, and in a way I really want to, but I have to be careful still, after all this time. I read dMP all the way through a few months ago, and it almost did me in... that OCT stuff... and then them dying. I was a freakin' basket case for a week. I love the updates she's doing now... I tell myself that since these parts take place before OCT, that maybe something will happen to change everything and the world won't have to get so messed up! I try to stick mostly to happy stuff. I love Jacks-key. I haven't reread Altitude since she remodelled it, but I want to - I was really enjoying that story. I love In Plain Sight - i met Vic in Chicago at the slash bash last year and became friends with her - she's awesome. I would still love for her to finish Brokeback Redemption.. that was a great story as well. I also am enjoying Fire and Ice, Policy of Truth, and Somewhere Out There, my MJ, altho she whacked us hard tonite. I'm enjoying Sometimes it Goes the Other Way by glaenconner - it's very sparse but so good. I wish that Scarlettbaby would come back to us, but i'm beginning to think she's moved on. I also loved everything Minch wrote and miss her terribly. I'm glad that TTTB is back. That's a neat story.

Anyway, just wanted to chat really. I still love reading and writing in the fandom, and I'm glad there are lots of good stories still active. I hope that lasts for a good long time. Big hugs. S!
