Author's Note: Thanks for your patience while I rested my brain on the banks of the Saint Vrain River. I think I'm ok for a while, but this is, officially, a storyette, and there will be more chapters of it later on, between other stuff. For now, the AKL boys have gotten busy again, so I'm off to Memphis to see what they're up to. That should be up ( Read more... )

Afternoon.

Well, I'm done in too. You wrote a great chapter on self-discovery, there. Glad they decided to keep going, to put something meaningful back into their lives. Liked the nods to OS, with each one in a loveless almost lifeless marriage, and finding comfort in each other. Also, the "you bet" at the end.

Thanks again.

I'm glad you enjoyed this. This is my first go at trying to write something semi-canonlike. There are differences, but I'm trying harder to stick closer to their OS personalities. They'll be back later with more adventures. Thanks for reading. S!

Have loved this little interlude. The tenderness and hesitancy Ennis showed in this chapter was lovely.

Thanks for sharing.

Ok, I think I can work with that! Sometimes angst is overrated and plain ol' smex is where it's at!! Thanks for reading. S!

Yay... Ennis was finally ready to jump! Like how he was so hot and eager, and it was Jack who actually had to encourage him to slow down. And as Jack said "That was good". I'd add.... that was hot!

They're in a good place now, especially after having had that talk, and all that sweet lovin'. Really enjoy seeing them this way. :)

Yes, i like having them - for the most part - on the same page in this story. It's a nice change of pace for me, writing wise. Glad you are enjoying it too. S!
