So I was getting sad/lonely and seeing phantom cats around my house, so to make myself feel less crazy I figured we'd better get new cats, plural. Always heard how great it was for them to be a pair. Charlotte's lil surgery
Yesterday Charlotte had ear tubes inserted and her adenoids removed. She's had chronic fluid in her ears since before last summer and while we got her ears pretty clear in January, the fluid came right back. Couldn't put it off any longer, her hearing wasn't 100% and it wasn't fair to her. I wasn't wild about adenoid removal, but an x-ray showed ( Read more... ) -

The less the better
On Tuesday night I won a weight loss challenge run by a local zumba instructor. The challenge was 6 weeks long and the scale registered a loss of 10 lbs for me. When Crystal cried out, "Holy crap, you lost 10 pounds!" I felt pretty good about my chanes of winning. All participants has paid $10 at the initial weigh-in and the prize was a visa ( Read more... ) -

Northward
So the first weekend in May I replaced Heide on a business trip to Toronto since her mother was having health issues. That was 2 nights away from the kids - could I sleep in? Hell to the NO!
