The less the better

On Tuesday night I won a weight loss challenge run by a local zumba instructor.  The challenge was 6 weeks long and the scale registered a loss of 10 lbs for me.  When Crystal cried out, "Holy crap, you lost 10 pounds!" I felt pretty good about my chanes of winning.  All participants has paid $10 at the initial weigh-in and the prize was a visa ( Read more... )

You look AMAZING! I am so proud of you! Gah, I need to get back on the weight loss train next year. I'm ashamed of how much weight I've gained :(

It's so hard to stay on track this time of year, but like I said, I have to keep reminding myself of my goals and progress. I'm also constantly looking for new activities - Zumba, kettlebells, etc. I'm going skiing probably in February - first time since my 1 attempt in high school. Ack! Charlotte's taking ice skating lessons in January and if she likes them there's a chance I can get into a class that meets the same time as hers (for ages 6 and up, that's me!). Sounded like you were making real progress with a personal trainer - shouldn't be too difficult to put some of those lessons back into practice...*hugs* :)
